The air pods, which are 3rd generation ones, require macOS Monterey or a later version. The air pods Pro 2nd generation is the model which requires the latest version of macOS.

If you try to set up your air pods with the iphone and your Mac is signed in to the iCloud with the same apple id, your air pods are ready to be used with your Mac. You should place your Air pods in the ears and click either the Bluetooth menu or the volume control which is present in the menu bar on Mac. Then, you should choose your Air pods from the list.

If you are not able to see the air pods in the Bluetooth or the volume control menu, you should-
